Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By contacting us, placing an order, or using any services provided by Cano Web Services (Cano Web Services), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Cano Web Services (Cano Web Services) provides web design and development services for local businesses, including but not limited to:

  • Business website design and development
  • E-commerce store setup
  • Landing page creation
  • Website redesigns and makeovers
  • Basic SEO setup
  • Ongoing website maintenance

The specific scope of work for each project will be agreed upon in writing before work begins.

3. Payment Terms

All projects require a 50% deposit before work begins. The remaining 50% is due upon project completion and your approval, before the website goes live.

Prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). We accept payment via bank transfer, PayPal, or other methods agreed upon at the start of the project.

Optional monthly maintenance fees, where applicable, are billed on a month-to-month basis and may be cancelled at any time with 30 days' written notice.

4. Revisions and Approval

We are committed to your satisfaction. We will make revisions to your project until you are genuinely happy with the result. Once you provide written approval (via email or message), the project is considered complete and the final payment becomes due.

Requests for significant changes to the agreed scope of work after approval may be subject to additional fees, which will be communicated clearly before any extra work begins.

5. Refund Policy

If we are unable to deliver a website that meets the agreed specifications despite reasonable revision attempts, we will issue a full refund of all payments made. Refunds will not be issued after a project has been approved and launched by the client.

The 50% deposit is non-refundable if the client cancels the project after work has commenced, unless we are unable to complete the project.

6. Client Responsibilities

To complete your project on time, you agree to:

  • Provide necessary content, images, and information in a timely manner
  • Respond to questions and review requests within a reasonable timeframe
  • Ensure that any content you provide does not infringe on third-party rights

Delays caused by late delivery of client materials may affect the project timeline and are not the responsibility of Cano Web Services (Cano Web Services).

7. Ownership and Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of final payment, you own the completed website in full — including all files, code, and design assets created specifically for your project. You are free to use, modify, or transfer ownership as you see fit.

Any third-party tools, plugins, or stock assets used in your project are subject to their own licensing terms, which will be disclosed to you.

8. Limitation of Liability

Cano Web Services (Cano Web Services) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of your website, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific project in question.

9. Confidentiality

We treat all information you share with us as confidential. We will not disclose your business information, project details, or personal data to third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
